LEMON + SALT

This bar was inspired by some preserved lemons I made in the past.  My little lemon tree was loaded with fruit and it seemed like the thing to do.  All it took was lemons, sea salt, peppercorns and bay leaves and some time. After a few weeks I had this tangy and salty condiment. During this process, I thought a preserved lemon inspired bar might be fun, so I came up with this salt bar recipe. It’s loaded with sea salt, oils and butter and scented with lemon, litsea, rosemary and a touch of black pepper essential oils. It also contains coconut milk that gives it a gorgeous, creamy lather and also gives it a stone-like feel. This soleseife bar gIves you all the benefits of a salt bar, but with a smoother feel.

INGREDIENTS: Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Filtered Water, Coconut Milk, Castor Oil, Shea Butter, Sea Salt, Kaolin Clay, Dried Lemon Peel, Lemon, Rosemary, Litsea and Black Pepper Essential Oils. 

PATCHOULI LIME

If you’ve never had the opportunity to smell patchouli and lime together, you’ve missed out!  It is the most cheerful and intoxicating scent together.  I often diffuse it in my home and it just makes the day better somehow.  This new bar combines a curated blend of natural oils and butters with patchouli and lime essential oils and a touch of bentonite clays and black earth clay.  

INGREDIENTS:  Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Filtered Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Castor Oil, Shea Butter, Mango Seed Butter, Bentonite Clay, Black Earth Clay, Patchouli and Lime Essential Oils

MANDARIN SEASON

Mandarin Season-Here in our part of the Sierra Nevada foothills we have a special little treat each year….Mandarin Season!  For just a couple of months the mandarin growers open their farms and flood the local markets with beautiful little bombs of delight.  We even have a mandarin festival with all sorts of mandarin treats.  This bar is also such a little treat.  It’s bright and tart in scent and topped with a lovely little dried mandarin slice that we made in house.  Like mandarins, get one while you can because when they’re gone, they’re gone.

INGREDIENTS: Olive oil, coconut oil, sodium hydroxide, castor oil, shea butter, mango seed butter, mandarin peel powder, kaolin clay, achiote powder, tangerine, orange, bergamot, ylang ylang, patchouli essential oils, mandarin slice.

YUZU + SALT

This all new soleseife bar contains a hand selected blend of natural oils and butters as well as sea salt and aloe vera and a beautiful blend of citrus and lemongrass essential oils.  Inside each bar is a flourish of sea clay and a dusting of sea salt over the top.  They are just so pretty inside and out! 

 INGREDIENTS:  Olive oil, coconut oil, filtered water, sodium hydroxide, avocado oil, castor oil, aloe Vera juice, shea butter, sea salt, sea clay, lemon juice, lemon, lemongrass, white fir, cedarwood atlas essential oils.
