Lemon + Salt-Inspired by some preserved lemons I made last year.  My little lemon tree was loaded with fruit and it seemed like the thing to do.  All it took was lemons, sea salt, peppercorns and bay leaves and some time. After a few weeks I had this tangy and salty condiment. During this process, I thought a preserved lemon inspired bar might be fun, so I came up with this salt bar recipe. It’s loaded with sea salt, oils and butter and scented with lemon, litsea, rosemary and a touch of black pepper essential oils. It also contains coconut milk, making this our very first milk bar and gives it a gorgeous, creamy lather and stone-like feel. This year, we decided to make this bar even more amazing by making it a Soleseife bar  you get all the benefits of the sea salt with the added luxury of a silky smooth bar  

Ingredients: Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Filtered Water, Sea Salt, Coconut Milk, Castor Oil, Shea Butter, Kaolin Clay, Dried Lemon Peel, Lemon, Rosemary, Litsea and Black Pepper Essential Oils. 

Lime Basil-I'm going to let you in on a little secret.  I LOVE lime and basil together!  I diffuse it all the time for that very reason.  Of course I had to make a soap with this combination and I have zero regrets.  It's bright yet herbal, it's fresh yet somehow calming.  It's colored with spinach powder and spirulina as well as yellow clay.  I hope you love it as much as I do.

Ingredients:  Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Castor Oil, Shea Butter, Mango Seed Butter, Kaolin Clay, Spirulina and Spinach Powders, Yellow Clay, Lime, Basil and Cedarwood Atlas Essential Oils

Glorious Grapefruit-Grapefruit is another citrus favorite.  It’s scent is clean and fresh, but somehow more delicate than some others.  It blends well with herbal scents like the rosemary and eucalyptus we’ve selected for this bar.  This combination is a bit more masculine, but not overly so.  

Olive oil, coconut oil, filtered water, sodium hydroxide, castor oil, shea butter, mango seed butter, pink clay, spirulina, spinach powder, charcoal powder, coriander seed, grapefruit, rosemary and eucalyptus essential oils.

 
Lavender Orange - A delightful blend of two of our favorite essential oils.  The sweet orange makes it fresh and bright and lavender gives it a solid base.  These bars are topped with a dried orange slice and a sprinkle of lavender flowers.  Of course we’ve used plenty of oils and butters for a soap bar your skin will adore.

Olive oil, coconut oil, filtered water, sodium hydroxide, castor oil, shea butter, mango seed butter, kaolin clay, lavender and orange essential oils.

Twisted Citrus - A dear friend came up with this combination of bright citrus essential oils twisted with ylang ylang and a touch of patchouli, lovingly referred to as "the hippie soap".  We had so much fun making soap together way back when.  We’ve been making this intoxicating blend for over two decades and it's not surprising that it has always been a favorite.  The texture is gentle and the lather is luxe.

Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Castor Oil, Shea Butter, Mango Seed Butter, Kaolin Clay, Turmeric, and Achiote Powders, Ground Mandarin Peel, Lemon, Tangerine, Lime, Grapefruit, Ylang Ylang and Patchouli Essential Oils.
