What’s New!?
It’s March. It’s March? Oh man, where did March go? It’s April and late April at that! Can you believe how quickly this year is passing? We’ve had some interesting weather, that’s for sure and now the weeds are growing and blossoms are blossoming. Perhaps you’ve noticed that we’ve been a tad quiet. The reason? Maddie has a new baby girl who is already two months old and both are doing great! You may see baby Blaire at markets this season as they are working as a team for now.
We’ve been taking advantage of the questionable weather, slow market season and tiny human addition to stock the shelves for the busy market season months. These shelves have never been so full! We’ll be bringing back the same collections but with a few changes here or there as we’re always looking for ways of improving our products. Next up is our Citrus Collection which we adore. The scents are so uplifting and bright. This year the collection will consist of Lemon+Salt, Orange Lavender, Lime Basil, Glorious Grapefruit and Twisted Citrus. If you’ve been around for a while, you might notice a few minor improvements. As an added springtime bonus we’re also releasing our Wildflowers Collection! In this group are Lavender Oat, Easy Breezy, Wild Flowers, White Rose and Spring + Salt. Perfect for Spring or any time really. Gorgeous florals are always welcome around here.
WHERE WILL WE BE?: We’ll be doing a few markets here and there as weather and kiddos permit. We’ve been at the market in Coloma on the 2nd & 4th Saturdays from 1-4, weather and babies permitting through April. It’s the coolest of farmer’s markets with live music, wood-fired pizza, wine tasting and all done right next to the South Fork of the American River in historic Coloma. We’ll also be popping up at the beautiful Horton’s Iris Market on April 27th from 10am-5pm in Loomis. If you are a flower lover, you don’t want to miss this market where you can stroll through their gardens and do a bit of shopping. Ginger Elizabeth Chocolates will be doing their third annual spring market in front of their store on J Street in downtown Sacramento on May 11th. The People’s Mountain Market in Garden Valley starts in May and we’ll be there as often as we possibly can. We love the small town feel, live music and it’s minutes from home. There is also a rumor of a new market in Coloma on Thursday evenings through the summer months. More details and markets to come, but wanted to give you all an insider’s sneak peek. Of course, the online shop is always available for all of your soap shopping needs.
